Jim is a keynote speaker, leadership coach, and author of The Six Essential Pillars of Effective Leadership: A Roadmap to Success, winner of the International Impact Book Award. His work centers on the accidental leader, the top performer who gets promoted and then has to figure out leadership alone. The framework rests on six pillars: Integrity, Focus, Compassion, Stability, Empathy, and Humor.

He comes to this from the field, not the classroom. Over 35 years in management, including more than a decade in the C-suite, Jim built and led sales teams at Perot Systems, Cognizant, HMS, and mPulse. He tripled revenue, took a 15% close ratio to 72%, and saw what happens when people are actually taught how to lead.

Jim is a Forbes Business Development Council member and the IAOTP (International Association of Top Professionals) Chief Sales Officer of the Year 2025. He works with organizations through keynotes, a three-day leadership workshop, and the Six Pillars Executive Leadership Accelerator.
